Episode 16: Equity counseling

Our guest for this week is Tina Rodriguez. She says: “I am a survivor of child abuse and a licensed marriage and family therapist but I choose to identify as an equity therapist. I am responsible for connecting the symptoms of racial trauma to mental health conditions. I specialize in working with victims of color.

I currently serve as Board President for ValorUS, a national organization working to end sexual violence. This victims rights week I announced that I am the CSSJ Statewide Manager. Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice is an organization with the largest membership of survivors.

I am married to Jose Rodriguez and we are raising our daughters in the heart of the central valley. I enjoy losing my thoughts to the sweet sound of mariachi music.”
